Great Scott! Here's a little "back to the future" from SuperPrep.com's Brandon Huffman: Apparently stud tight end prospect Xavier Grimble committed to USC this upcoming Friday.
Homerism is all in favor of the early bird catching the worm, but something tells me Grimble's future self would have preferred to break the news.
Some excerpts from the article on Grimble's commitment are below. Maybe present-day Grimble will change his mind when he reads how hard it was to tell Bob Stoops he isn't coming to OU.
Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman tight end Xavier Grimble, the top-ranked tight end in the country by Scout.com, is going to the Pac-10.
Grimble picked USC on Friday, continuing the Trojans run of elite prospects at the position.
